Bali has always been a special place for me. I've explored almost every corner of the island, from the busy southern hubs to quieter places well beyond the usual tourist trail.
In recent years, padel has become a big part of my time here, giving me another reason to explore. Finding new clubs, booking courts, joining games and tournaments, and meeting people along the way has opened up a whole new side of Bali.
But there was one thing I found surprisingly difficult.

There wasn't one complete, reliable and regularly updated place to find where to play padel in Bali.
Which clubs were actually open? How many courts did they have? What did it cost to play? Could I hire a racket, join an open match or find a tournament? And most importantly, what was it actually like to play there?
Having spent years helping friends and family decide where to stay, what to do and which parts of Bali suited them, I saw an opportunity to bring that same local knowledge to the island's growing padel scene.
So I created Bali Padel Scene — a guide to help you discover Bali, find the right club and get on court.

BPS started with a simple goal: to visit and play at every padel club across Bali and the surrounding islands.
With 121 clubs currently listed across the directory, we're working our way through the scene, one court at a time. Along the way, we're meeting the people behind the venues, discovering what makes each club different and sharing our experiences.

Our guides combine practical information with first-hand observations, including what we loved about each visit. As clubs evolve, we'll continue updating our guides and revisiting venues.
