THE CLUB
Bali Padel Academy is one of Canggu’s standout padel destinations, combining seven semi-indoor panoramic courts with an impressive range of facilities overlooking the surrounding rice fields.
The centre caters for everything from social games through to high-level competitive play, with coaching, open matches, tournaments and leagues forming part of a busy playing schedule. Off court, the pool, recovery facilities, café and restaurant make it somewhere players can comfortably spend time before or after a game.
COURTS & PLAY
Seven semi-indoor panoramic courts provide a spacious playing environment, with 14-metre-high ceilings and texturised turf certified by the Spanish Padel Federation.
The centrepiece is the show court, which includes dedicated gallery seating for up to 200 spectators. Games range from social and beginner-level matches through to highly competitive play, with open matches, tournaments, socials and leagues regularly bringing players together.
Court bookings are available for 60, 90 or 120 minutes, with Playtomic making it easy to find and join games.
60 minutes: IDR 150,000 per person
90 minutes: IDR 195,000 per person
120 minutes: IDR 280,000 per person
COACHING
Bali Padel Academy has a substantial coaching program catering for individual and small-group lessons. One-hour lessons include the coach, court hire, racket hire, balls, training equipment and access to the BPA recovery area on the day of the lesson.
Coaching from IDR 500,000 per person, with pricing varying by coach and group size. Individual private lessons start from IDR 1.4 million.
FOOD & DRINK
Bali Padel Academy is as much a place to hang out as it is to play. The on-site café and restaurant serve coffee, meals, snacks, fresh coconuts and alcoholic drinks, with plenty of space to settle in before or after a game.
One of the more memorable touches is the courtside coconut service — order at the push of a button and have a fresh coconut delivered while you play.
With the infinity pool overlooking the surrounding rice fields, it’s easy to stick around long after your booking finishes.
WHAT’S HAPPENING
There’s rarely a shortage of ways to get on court at Bali Padel Academy. Open matches cater for different playing levels, alongside regular social games, tournaments and leagues.
The club attracts a broad mix of players and has a noticeably busy calendar, so booking ahead is recommended — particularly at popular playing times.
BPS TAKE
Bali Padel Academy is my favourite padel centre in Bali so far.
The seven spacious courts, high ceilings and quality playing conditions are impressive on their own, but it’s everything around them that makes BPA stand out. There’s a genuine social atmosphere, games across all levels, friendly staff and excellent facilities — including an infinity pool and recovery areas overlooking the rice fields.
It’s equally good for a competitive game or spending a few hours around the club before and after you play. Even the drive through the rice fields adds to the experience.
The only catch? Book early. Courts fill quickly, which probably tells you plenty about the place.
Bali Padel Academy sets the benchmark for the complete padel experience in Bali.
Seven spacious semi-indoor courts, including an impressive show court, combine with consistently good games and excellent off-court facilities. The infinity pool, recovery areas, restaurant and rice-field setting make it somewhere you can comfortably spend a few hours either side of your booking.
For me, it’s the combination that makes BPA stand out. You can find a game across different levels, play in excellent conditions and then actually want to stick around afterwards.

LOCAL PICKS
A few of my favourite spots around Uluwatu when I'm playing at Island Padel.
Bali Padel Academy is fairly isolated, so don't expect to finish a game and wander down the road to a choice of cafés or bars. The good news is you really don't need to.
Bandeja is BPA's on-site restaurant, with breakfast, lunch and dinner covered. It's an easy spot to refuel after a match, grab a coffee or settle in for a meal while taking in the rice-field setting.
Combined with the pool and other facilities, it's another reason BPA works particularly well as somewhere to spend a few hours rather than simply arriving, playing and leaving.

GOOD TO KNOW
Bali Padel Academy is consistently busy and popular playing times can fill quickly. If you have a specific time in mind, don't leave your booking until the last minute.
Check BPA's live Playtomic page for upcoming tournaments, Americanas, group coaching and other bookable activities.
VIEW WHAT'S ONThere's no traditional membership, but prepaid credit packages are available through the BPA Front Desk.
Premium NOX rackets are available for IDR 50,000 per session.
This isn't really a play-and-leave club. The infinity pool, recovery area and Bandeja restaurant make it worth arriving early or hanging around after your game.
One of BPA's best little touches. Order a fresh coconut at the push of a button and have it delivered directly to the court while you play.
BPA is tucked away among the rice fields in Babakan, so there isn't much within a quick walk of the club. There's ample parking on site, and the drive through the rice fields is part of the experience.
