KANANA PADEL CLUB
Six panoramic courts, a welcoming padel community and the wider Kanana Village experience tucked away in Ungasan.

Finding Kanana is part of the experience. Tucked down the backstreets of Ungasan, the entrance opens into Kanana Village, a destination that feels like its own little world. BPS arrived after dark for a September match, and the journey from the surrounding streets to the courts gave the evening a memorable sense of discovery.
Padel is only one part of the picture. The wider village brings together fitness and Hyrox training, paintball, swimming, hot and cold recovery facilities and food. It is an appealing concept for anyone who likes to build more than a single match into their day. Kanana Village has more details at kananavillage.com.

Kanana has six panoramic doubles courts: four indoors and two outdoors. The indoor courts are fully enclosed beneath an impressively high roof, making them a strong option when the tropical sun is at its hottest or the rain rolls through. The court quality stood out during BPS’s game, and the generous overhead space makes the indoor setting feel open rather than boxed in.
BPS played on Court 2 in September 2026. With outdoor court hire at IDR 200K per 60 minutes and indoor hire at IDR 300K, players have a choice between the open-air experience and the added weather protection of the indoor courts.

At the padel venue itself, BPS found the practical essentials: changing rooms, showers, bathrooms and a reception area. The real point of difference is the broader Kanana Village setting, where the facilities extend well beyond a typical padel club.
The village includes a gym and fitness offering, swimming pool, sauna, ice bath and hot tub, along with other wellness and activity spaces. These are part of the Kanana experience, although BPS’s evening visit was focused on the match rather than a full tour of the village. It is the sort of place worth returning to during daylight hours to make a longer outing of it.
There is a straightforward drinks fridge at padel reception for a quick refreshment before or after a game. For something more substantial, staff pointed BPS towards El Kanana café in the village, which offers a broader selection of healthy meals and drinks.
The café adds another reason to linger rather than head straight home after the final point. BPS was there for an evening match and did not stop for a meal, but the food offering complements the wider fitness-and-recovery focus of the village.
Kanana had a lively feel on the night BPS visited. Three of the four indoor courts were hosting Playtomic matches, bringing together players of different abilities and nationalities. It was busy enough to feel like a genuine padel community without losing the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
The staff were friendly and helpful from the outset, and one of Kanana’s coaches joined the BPS game on Court 2 — a particularly nice introduction to the club. Coaching and regular King of the Court tournaments add to the opportunities to get involved. Playtomic is the best starting point for finding a match or checking what is coming up.
The sense of discovery, excellent indoor courts and genuinely friendly atmosphere.
Kanana is worth seeking out: excellent high-ceilinged indoor courts, welcoming staff and a lively mix of Playtomic matches made for a great evening of padel. The wider sports village adds plenty of reasons to return.
