THE CLUB
Laga Padel Club Lombok is a major new padel and lifestyle development currently under construction in Kuta, South Lombok.
The project is being developed on approximately 12,000 m² of beachfront land, bringing together padel, wellness, hospitality and community spaces. It's co-founded by former Great Britain No.1 padel player and National Junior Coach Frankie Langan, who is helping shape the playing and coaching side of the club.
COURTS & PLAY
The latest version of Laga's official website says six courts, built to international standards.
There is some conflicting information worth recording. An older version of Laga's website describes six international-standard courts plus a PPA Championship Court — seven total. More recent official material has reverted to six courts, while recent reporting describes an initial five courts plus a sixth outdoor court.
For BPS, I'd therefore publish:
COURTS — 6 planned
…and ask Laga to confirm the final configuration before opening.
A dedicated Centre Court for matches, tournaments and events is planned, with the club designed for everyone from first-time players through to competitive players.
FACILITIES
This is being designed as considerably more than a padel club.
Confirmed plans include infinity pools, ice baths, saunas and Pilates, alongside social and relaxation areas.
Food and drink will also be a major part of the venue, with Mediterranean-inspired and wood-fired food, breakfasts, cocktails, beer and community dining/events planned.
Longer-term development plans have also included a gym, accommodation, beach club and residential/hospitality components. Because the project is still under construction, I'd avoid presenting those as operating club facilities until Laga confirms exactly what will open in the first stage.
COACHING
A substantial coaching program is planned.
Laga says it will offer structured development for beginners, juniors, social players and competitive players, with Langan's elite playing and coaching experience influencing the program.
Specific coaches, programs and pricing have not yet been released.
OUR TAKE
Coming soon. Bali Padel Scene will visit and play at Laga Padel Club after opening before publishing our first-hand assessment.
GOOD TO KNOW
Laga is being developed on the shoreline of Kuta, South Lombok.
There's an important update to what we had earlier: I would NOT label this “Opening November 2026.”
Laga's own pages currently conflict — some older pages say November or December 2026, but its newest homepage and registration page now say “Opening early 2027.” Recent independent reporting also says foundations were going down in August 2026 with an estimated early-2027 opening.
