THE GROUND BINGIN
Three full-size covered outdoor courts, a dedicated singles court and a lively Playtomic community in Bingin.

The Ground is one of those clubs where the social side is every bit as good as the padel. Travellers passing through Uluwatu, expats who play every week and local regulars all find their way onto the same courts. It has that easy, welcoming energy that makes turning up on your own feel completely normal.
BPS returned in September 2026, and the appeal is obvious: three covered doubles courts, a singles court, plenty of action and a viewing deck where the conversation carries on between games. There is a proper community feel here, not just a place to hire a court.

The high-roofed covered courts keep the open-air Bali feel, while the singles court gives players another way to get some court time. But the real draw is the standard of play.
The Ground is a go-to for strong Playtomic open matches. BPS has consistently found high-level, competitive games here, often with a mix of travellers, expats and locals on court. You can arrive without a partner, join a match and quickly find yourself part of the scene. Social tournaments keep that same energy going beyond the usual bookings.

Choose a private lesson with a senior coach (IDR 1,000,000 per hour) or junior coach (IDR 800,000 per hour). For group coaching, the per-person rate is IDR 450,000 for two players, IDR 350,000 for three, or IDR 250,000 for four.
The Ground also runs a free beginner introduction on selected Sunday mornings (9–10am). Message the club to confirm the session and reserve a place.
The café and elevated viewing area make it tempting to stay for the next match rather than head straight out. Grab something to drink, watch the rallies below and catch up with the players you have just met. It is part of what gives The Ground its sociable, club-like feel.

The best thing about The Ground is how naturally people mix. Visitors looking for a hit, long-term Bali expats and local players share competitive games, chat between sets and turn up again for the next tournament. There is always someone to meet and usually a strong match to join.
It is lively without being intimidating: good players, friendly faces and a real sense that everyone is there because they love the game. For anyone new to Uluwatu, this is an easy way to find both a match and a padel crowd.

The people, the energy and consistently great games.
The Ground is a brilliant place to meet fellow padel players in Uluwatu. The Playtomic matches bring a consistently strong standard, while the mix of travellers, expats and locals makes the whole club feel welcoming and social. It is the sort of place where one booking can easily lead to your next few games.
