ULUWATU CLUB
A hidden boutique padel escape near the heart of Uluwatu, with two covered courts, beach volleyball and a pool.

Having spent a lot of time around Uluwatu, I was surprised to find this little boutique club so close to the centre. Tucked into a quiet, largely untouched pocket, it feels a world away from the bustle nearby.
There are just two padel courts and a beach volleyball court, with a pool and outdoor seating completing a relaxed, easygoing setup. It has the sort of personality that makes you want to stay longer than your booking.

I played on one of the two roofed doubles panoramic courts. The roof provides protection from above while the open sides keep that outdoor Bali feel. It is a compact, approachable setup rather than a large-scale padel complex.
The beach volleyball court next door is a great extra if you want to mix up your session. Padel is 300k per court for an hour, while volleyball is 200k–300k per hour depending on the time. Racket rental is 50k.

The bathrooms were clean and spacious, and the pool was cool and clean — a welcome option after a game in Bali. There is also an enclosed children’s play area, although parents would still need to keep an eye on children while playing.
You won’t find a sauna, ice bath or gym here, but that is not really what this club is about. The pool, courts and intimate setting are the drawcards.

There is a café area with plenty of outdoor seating, making it easy to settle in before or after a game. I didn’t try the food during this visit, but the offering looked more focused on chilled drinks and snacks than a full restaurant meal.
With the pool and outdoor space nearby, it is easy to imagine this being a fun spot for a casual afternoon with friends.

I visited in the morning, when the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. I spoke with the team running the centre, who were friendly and happy to chat about coaching for everyone from beginners to experienced players.
From the club’s Instagram, it looks like this place really comes alive for social gatherings and events. I can see why: the courts, volleyball, pool and outdoor seating make a natural setting for people to spend time together.

The best surprise was discovering somewhere this peaceful so close to central Uluwatu. Two covered padel courts, beach volleyball, a pool and a friendly team give it plenty of personality. It is a smaller, more intimate club, and that is exactly the appeal — a great place to play and then linger with friends.
